Keepin’ Things Real:  Free to Love Again

A few years back, I asked the Father to surface anything in me that needs to be sacrificed. I wanted whatever was in my life that was hindering me from fulfilling the purposes for which God made me to be eradicated from my life, and placed on an altar where they could be put to death. Did you know that God LOVES the smell of death? He LOVES the smell of dead flesh! The death of our flesh makes room for the life of Christ!

Keepin’ Things Real:  Christ did what he said he would do!

We call this week Holy Week. Holy, sacred, set apart as something very special. As I have contemplated our Savior during this Holy Week, I have been reading the Scriptures about what happened in the days prior to His triumphal entry. In Mark 10, the Bible says that Jesus and His disciples came to Jericho. If you remember, Jericho was the place where the walls came tumbling down. There, blind Bartimaeus is given sight. Jesus asked him what he wanted and he said to Jesus, "I want to see!"
